VCクラッチはトルクバーにより伝達されます。 緩い作動チューブは、リムと 2 つの側板で形成されたハウジング内に収容されており、交換可能です。 サイドプレートによって所定の位置に保持されているトルクバーは、摩擦シューのバッキングプレートの空洞を通過します。 作動チューブを加圧すると、摩擦シューが円筒ドラムの周囲に強制的に係合します。 バッキングプレートのトルクバーキャビティ内の板バネは、作動チューブの圧力が解放されると摩擦シューを後退させます。
